Bulalo Point Turo-Turo Grill

Happy new year! Thank you for giving me another year to share with you my current and not-so-current food finds. For this year, I will try to update as much as I can so I give my two cents on foods/restaurants and other food-related stuff that may be helpful to everyone. Happy reading! *** One afternoon, I received a text message from a friend asking if I had work the next day. After saying yes and asking why, I was told we're going on a roadtrip! Excited as I was, I replied and said I was coming. Karen (short for kalad-karen) alert!! After long hours of waiting (whew! Let's not get there...), evening of the next day came. Clueless of where exactly we're going, we drove to Tagaytay talking about random things. In the middle of the trip, my friend asked if we were familiar with this place called Bulalo Point. El Kabayo Restaurant

On our way back to NLEX, we decided to have something that's not fast food. Since we're "Southeners", we opted for "native" dishes from Pampanga. We noticed cars lined up at the parking lot and thought maybe that's what were looking for, inspite of the "catchy" name. While in the car, the first thing that came in my mind was maybe they serve horses such as tapang kabayo on their menu... I hesitated because I do not eat anything exotic. Second, that it may not be an animal-friendly establishment which could be a big problem 'cause we're traveling with our dog. My boyfriend inquired first so he walked back with a couple of good news - first, that they (the owners) love their horses so much that they cannot afford to kill them (and eat them!).
