Yesterday was my newest godchild's, christening. Ceremony started 10 AM but due to my responsibilities at work, I couldn't leave the office till 1 PM. It was held at Barbara's Restaurant in Intramuros (Manila).
I came earlier than my friend, so I waited a few minutes by the doorstep of the resto. When he finally appeared, we went together to the second floor where the reception was held. The place was vintage, yet the ambiance was peaceful, and traditionally Spanish-y. We met our friend's girlfriend, Mavie, the mommy of our inaanak . She told us to first leave our things on our seats so we could head onto the buffet table.
Round one : I had some serving of their dry fettucine pasta (So dry that I totally forgot what it was!). There also was their chicken barbecue, unsure if it was named something else, but it's good!
