Venice Piazza's Food Adventure

Heard about the Food Adventure on the news two weeks ago and last Saturday afternoon, off we went to McKinley Hill to personally experience it. When you get to the venue, at the lobby, you will be welcomed by a representative to whom you can get tickets. Once you pay Php 600 (for one person only), you will be given a food passport and  identification bands for Saturday and Sunday.  Then you may start going around, your choice where you want your adventure to begin.  First restaurant : Pho Hoa Pomelo Salad Not only does this look so appealing, but filling, as well! :) Second : KBop Chapchae Vegetable and Seafood Pancake These pancakes taste better than they look like in this picture. :)  Third : Little Asia Shrimp Curls There are supposed to be six curls... Who took one away?! Hahaha! Mango dip doesn't match with the curls if you will ask me. Vietnamese Spring Rolls Meaty, meaty rolls paired with a sp...

TOSH Part 1

We've been all around Festival Mall and we were thinking of eating somewhere we've not dined in before. We were hungry anyway, so we settled with The Old Spaghetti House instead. Practicumers welcomed us and directed us to our table. One of them handed us the menu and gave us great food choices. And so we ordered Appetizer Basket, Chicken Tequila Pizza, Brewed Coffee and Vanilla Milkshake. It took them around 5-10 minutes before the Appetizer Basket was served. The chicken fingers in the basket tasted like fish and so all the while I was confused. It was good, though. But like I said, it invites a lot of bad cholesterol. Appetizer Basket, Php 210 Chicken Tequila Pizza, Php 245 Vanilla Milkshake, Php 90; Brewed Coffee Php 60 Pizza was thinly crusted, oblong in size, 8 slices and what's good about it is that I almost didn...

Bag of Beans

We've been to Bag of Beans (almost near Batangas) twice before and this is the first time we're trying out what's in store for breakfast. And, at a new venue. The place was relaxing, and the new location was way too easy to drive to especially if you are looking for that quick escape from the city (oh yes, Tagaytay is a city, too! Silly me... But you guys know what I'm talking about, right? ;)).  They have a long list to choose from. From burgers, pastas, chips, pancakes to rice meals. What perfect way to make a travel here more laid-back is by having coffee. Brewed Coffee, Php 95 Iced Caffe Mocha, Php 110   We were scheduled for an outreach/medical mission at a nearby orphanage that's why we thought of having something heavy.  Sort of a brunch. Chicken Tocino, Php 195 Two eggs cooked just the way I lurve it, CUPful of garlic fried rice, atchara , and edible tomatoes and cucumbers as decoration! The viand was much more ...
