Bulalo Point Turo-Turo Grill

Happy new year! Thank you for giving me another year to share with you my current and not-so-current food finds. For this year, I will try to update as much as I can so I give my two cents on foods/restaurants and other food-related stuff that may be helpful to everyone.

Happy reading!

One afternoon, I received a text message from a friend asking if I had work the next day. After saying yes and asking why, I was told we're going on a roadtrip! Excited as I was, I replied and said I was coming. Karen (short for kalad-karen) alert!!

After long hours of waiting (whew! Let's not get there...), evening of the next day came. Clueless of where exactly we're going, we drove to Tagaytay talking about random things. In the middle of the trip, my friend asked if we were familiar with this place called Bulalo Point. I remember just passing along the area but never even once tried checking what the place offers.

As soon as we got there, we were guided to stay at a nipa hut, giving it the "Tagaytay feel". We were immediately assisted and handed a menu.

We wanted Tawilis but was out of stock! Ordered Batangas' famous Bulalo, Sisig, and Ensaladang Mangga instead.

credits to my friend, Lhyn, for this pic

Everything went above my expectation. Walang itulak kabigin sa sarap. Sisig's a bit crispy and perfect for pulutan. Bulalo was flavorful. It's supposed to be for two people only, but was actually too much for three. Solve ka na sa sabaw pa lang, but you'd definitely appreciate the meat, too.

For 660 php, you'd get so stuffed, may even get a take-out if you wish to. I so enjoyed my first Bulalo Point experience. This calls for a next visit :)
