Via Mare

warning : you got to have great imagination because this blog doesnt contain pictures. sorry.

I'm still very full as I'm doing this blog. As much as I'd like to take pictures of what we had this aftee, it would've been very impolite to my bosses if I took out my phone/cam just so you'd see.

We were at St. Luke's Global City earlier for a meeting/training with the e-health team, but before going to the 5th level, one of my bosses wanted get something from Via Mare. I wasn't thinking about eating yet because I had FULL lunch. Since I was with the bosses, I couldn't say no and not eat with them. So I did.

We ordered Lomi, Puto Bumbong, Bibingka and I had additional Guinomis (something similar to halo-halo but instead of milk, they added coconut milk/gata).

It was our male boss who first ordered Lomi. It looked and smelled really good, he kept convincing my female boss to order one, too! She did, with the condition that I share it with her.

Puto Bumbong was made of sticky pounded rice (malagkit) served with muscovado sugar and coconut shavings. Bibingka was served with a slice of queso de bola on top and coconut shavings, as well. Between the two, I much more appreciated bibingka because it was cheesy. I forgot to mention that bibingka had cheese inside it, making it have a bit of salty feel in it. (Sorry for being so biased when it comes to cheesiness.) :)

I believe we consumed a little over 700 php for everything I mentioned. I'd probably go back some other time and take pics.
